History of Therapy Works

Greetings, I am Amy Danielson, the president and founder of Therapy Works. I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and the clinic. I had worked in a variety of occupational therapy settings from acute care to long term care. It wasn’t until I worked in pediatrics that I found my calling, in particular working in sensory integration.

To be the president of Therapy Works is nothing short of an honor that I cherish every day. I truly love my job! I most enjoy working with patients and their families.

Therapy Works focuses on the continuing development of children, adolescents and even adults, contrary to the name. I’d like to thank the numerous families that have touched my heart and made my dream come true. I truly believe that if you have the right people around you, you can accomplish anything you set out to do.

Like any progressive organization, Therapy Works spends alot of time, energy and resources in developing new skills and programs that will assist in delivering more efficient results to our patients. We firmly believe that we’re always in “learning mode” maintaining openness to different methods and modalities of treatment.

In closing, I welcome you to Therapy Works, I believe you are in the most capable hands I know. I’d have anyone on our team working with my own child. If it’s not good enough for my own child, it’s definitely not good enough for yours.

Amy Danielson, President
